This blue eyed sweetheart has dressed some of the best in the music industry, from, Cheryl Cole, Beyonce and Lady Gaga. David Koma’s radical designs featuring his signature metal-tube detailing has made this ‘boy next door’ into one of the most iconic designers of the new generation. Everyone is seemingly catching onto who David Koma is; as they are being educated of his designs through parading celebs including the like of: actress Megan Fox, singer Kylie Minogue and the infamous Rihanna.

David Koma’s monochrome, futuristic and geometric collections he regularly shows at London Fashion Week, but now will be available for you also. He has teamed up with Topshop and have crated the “Capsule Collection” featuring 5 of the most desirable Koma pieces. David Koma says, “Topshop signifies youth and modernity and its spirit evokes ‘cool London’. It was really exciting to work with the Topshop team as I felt they understood me as a designer and appreciated my need to make a high quality product without compromising the design aesthetic, quality of fabric or finishing. They helped make my vision a reality and I’m thrilled with the result.” This release date for flagship stores in New York City and Oxford St, have not been confirmed, but three dates have been deliberated the 10th, 16th or 18th for official availability fir a David Koma piece.

Star ‘Studded’ Fashion

Since 2010, celeb fashion has hit the general public even more then the years before. Last year was the year of the “stud”, now I’m not talking about a hunky guy, grr! But the studded fashion on everything from shoes, bags, jackets, even gloves! We know the late Michael Jackson was the re creator of the studded jacket, but we cant forget the rockers who kept the stud fashion flame burning, and especially ‘hells angels’ who never forget to to jump on their Harley with out their studded jackets!

So i was thinking of purchasing a studded pair of shoes by Louboutin, now it interested me more, when I saw Pharell and Rihanna both papped in a pair of Studded High top Louboutin’s that I adore! I totally love the fact Louboutin hasn’t only resorted its collection to 6inch heels, and has branched into designing a more urban yet classy sneaker collection for a designer/sneaker lover. Also check out the other flat shoes Louboutins have released ‘Brogue style, and Slip-on style” shoes.

Then just the other day I thought ok  I gotta get myself a handbag, a big sorta one, one that I can chuck everything into yet looks good, so i searched for a studded style bag, and what do you know the one that I liked was spotted on Li-Lo (Lindsey Lohan), just days after she left rehab! Ok so that didnt put me off, but the bag wasn’t studdy enough? The studded little beauty was a  Black Leather Burberry studded bag from their ‘Prosum’ range. Also spotted carrying this was Cameron Diaz and Nicky Hilton, along with Blake Lively carrying another style from the new ‘Prosum’ collection.

When I saw how big the stud fashion was going I had a great idea in mind. With the huge hype of leggings, jeggings, treggings, and whatever other eggings have been invented, I though I id invent something I’d call “Studdings” , yes you got it, Studded leggings. But that dream was soon shattered, a great idea before I googled it and saw that “Beyonce” was papped wearing a pair of studded leggings and a Biker jacket (may I add she rocked them fashionably well). Beyonce has designed these studded cling ons for her new  fashion label ‘House of Dereon’, but was also accused of stealing the design from an Icelandic label. Whatever the case is, I love them and Beyonce ‘you go girl’.
