Chanel have done it again! Chanel have released images of their fourth coming  SS/11 sunglasses range. I love how Chanel has grasped the  latest  geek style frame and yet added a chic addition using the iconic Chanel quilted leather in its detailing. The amazing frames not only look good, but the magic is under the leather quilted arms, what can be flipped to reveal a lipstick mirror. Its evolutionary and such a unique concept, and proudly Chanel have marked their chicness in this range!

Versace 2011 Accessories

Versace is one of the most iconic designers, of all time. This 2011 Versace has laid a new set of rules, and one thing is for sure, the release of the spring and summer accessories are some of the best I’ve seen by Versace . With an Aztec feel to the handbag design, Versace has started 2011 with some of the best in ‘must have’ accessories. The ss/11 campaign has been modelled by actress ‘January Jones’, and could not  have been pictured any better.

Louboutin Manicure

Okay I think I’m slightly late with this exclusive fashion and beauty update, but I’m not gonna waste any more time. This particular new craze has hit the American fashion scene around a year ago, and it seems as if the Brit fashion scene hasn’t fully latched on to the new “Louboutin manicure’ yet? As glamorous as it sounds, its the simplicity behind the idea that makes it so innovative. Mimicking the statement red sole as an under tip colour and a lush black coat to represent the Louboutin itself. It really is a beautiful interpretation and tribute to the iconic shoe maker.

Katy Perry for ‘O.P.I’

Katy Perry new album has taken the music charts by a storm since late 2010, and smashed into the new year with a number one single ‘Firework’, but this Californian girl has endorsed her love for quirkiness, to produce 4 new nail lacquers!  The Katy Perry Collection by OPI will includes 4 shades: Teenage Dream (a dreamy pink glitter), Not Like the Movies (a gun mental grey), Last Friday Night (a fierce glittery blue), and The One That Got Away (an amazing deep berry). But the breakout hit of the collection is sure to be Black Shatter, a revolutionary topcoat that creates a cracked/leopard pattern when applied over dried nail lacquer.

Stripes back for SS/11

Autumn and Winter for 2011 boasted with animal prints , however showcased at Milan Fahion week, was a entourage of stripes on the runway for this Spring and Summer 2011. Some of the best examples of seaside stripes, retrograde stripes, and geometrical stripes were presented for the ss/11 trends.

Even though the runway was belting with stripes everywhere, I had to pick some my favourite stripy faves in the up and coming trend for ss/11.

H&M collaborates with Lanvin

H&M have announced today that they will collaborating with Lanvin, releasing worldwide on November 23rd. The much awaited collaboration had fashion followers anticipating the release of the last trailer, Albert Elbaz of Lanvin proclaimed his endeavour publicly through a very sleek trailer. After a great success with likes of  Karl Largefeld, Stella McCartney, and Sonia Rykiel, Lanvin will showcase its designs 3 weeks prior to worldwide sales. I am so excited to see what Albert Elbaz and his menswear counterpart Lucas Ossendrijver will design for H&M and to see whether they incorporate classic Lanvin style, from slick LBD’s and cocktails dresses for the ladieswear, and bow ties and waistcoats for menswear.

Jungle Diva

The Animal print has been a strong trend for Autumn/Winter seasons since 2008. This feisty feline trend has been pinned down by some of the greatest designers this AW 2010. Jimmy Choo turned its focus to Leopard Prints this fall and have created bold yet elegant designs to dress up any day or evening style. The secret of wearing an animal based pattern fashion trend successfully would be to mildly accessories with it, which means not over do the print, but to keep it chic and minimal.

Gucci ‘Guilty’

Gucci renowned for its high profile scents has released its 2010 latest “Gucci Guilty”, having a soft spot for fragrance, and having recently purchased this little delight, its evident that after Gucci by Gucci and Gucci Flora, the house doesnt fail to impress with their latest release. Gucci Guilty has revealed itself with the dry notes of candied amber of Flower Bomb (Victor&Rolf), green notes heavier on lilac and recognisably holds heavy aromachemicals as such in a personal favourite of mine Narciso Rodriguez for Her. OK enough about what’s in the bottle, however Gucci never fail to design amazing dressing for their perfumes, so they made this particular bottle all about the women, Gucci Guilty can be seen as a fairly convincing finishing touch for the pretty woman of 2010 who will even be able to use the sleek bottle as a purse mirror to retouch her lips.

Lanvin has come in recent years and one of the collections that really pushed them beyond high fashion is their strong sneaker line-up. One of my personal favourites are these low top Lanvin Sneakers in Khaki, popular amongst many celebs this SS10.
